And now for something truly important. 82 year old Hugh Hefner has split with his 28 year old girlfriend Holly Madison.

Of course that still leaves him with two girlfriends. He still has Bridget and Kendra. Bridget and Kendra are the flighty ones. Holly is the sensible one with a good head on her shoulders.

I find myself choking on my words when I call Holly Madison the sensible one. Calling her sensible would suggest that she makes wise decisions.

As a father of two daughters I would think that I would have to suggest to either of them that it would not be very sensible to get involved with an 82 year old man and two other girls.

Perhaps I should say that she is capable of making good financial decisions. I am certain that she currently has far more money now than she did before she first appeared in Playboy. Money and fame is what life is all about. Right?

Apparently she was upset that Hef had told her that they would never wed or have children. Holly...Holly....He has two other girlfriends Holly.

Hef was reportedly down in the dumps about the whole ordeal but apparently is getting over it as he has stated that he is currently seeking out new live-in lovers.

The current Girls Next Door and Hef are committed to a 6th season of the show. The three are the remainder of what was originally seven girlfriends he had after his break-up with Kimberly Conrad in 2001.

Reportedly Mr. Virility is seeking out seven or more new girlfriends.

"It's a big house," he said. "And I'm not going to live alone. I'm definitely not going to live alone."

I wonder what the fathers of his new girlfriends will tell their daughters.

Sadly, giving this "issue" any attention is too much attention. Can we just obliterate "reality show" all together? Isn't there something we can put in the water that will stop people from putting this crap on TV and, worst of all, watching it? It's one of the main / major reasons I don't watch TV. Yuck!
